Established in 1990, The Family Centre is a charitable organization committed to making a difference for families in Bermuda, and it was the first human services provider in Bermuda to achieve international accreditation. BTC is proud to support ongoing programmes and prevention initiatives to provide families with the skills they need to be successful and to sustain that success for future generations.
BTC is a Major Sponsor of RBT. Since its modest beginning in 1983, the Ross "Blackie" Talbot Charity Classic has become a fixture on the annual fund-raising calendar of Bermuda. 2008 recipients include Youthnet, The Bermuda Zoological Society, The Adult Education School and the Ross "Blackie" Talbot education awards.
BIFF has grown from 22 films screening in two theatres in 1997 to an annual festival of more than 75 films over nine days, thanks, in part, to the generous backing of BTC and other members of the KeyTech group.
BTC established this annual scholarship in 1983 to commemorate Sir John W. Cox, KT, C.B.E., and J.P., who served as a Director and past President of the company. This scholarship enables qualified Bermudians to study abroad toward a university degree or other professional or technical designation.
